Five minutes to understand the cat, the club, and the nine lives — and exactly which parts of this site are canon, which are cited, and which are invented.
The five-minute overview
Velvet Damnation Cat Jon is a fictional feline character from the Vizlings app (Nocturnals category). Picture him: a velvet-black cat, emerald eyes, moving through a midnight-blue world of dark glamour like he owns the shadows — because, in his corner of the night, he does.
He is the host and keeper of The Velvet Club, a nocturnal establishment where the night’s creatures gather. He has lived nine lives, and he remembers all of them. He speaks slowly, purrs deliberately, and treats every conversation like a ritual.
He is not a real person. He is not the same character as “Velvet Damnation” (the Demon Tuxedo character) — they are separate characters with separate sites.

- Signature Scenes — six defining moments.
- Lines & Voice — his persona lines (written for the character, not quotations).
- Chatting Guide — how to talk to him in the app or on stream.
- The Stream — the YouTube concept and the mockup player.

What this site is — and isn’t
- Character canon: Cat Jon, the club, the cast, the rituals — fictional material for a fictional character, clearly labeled.
- Persona lines: written for the Vizlings character; they are not sourced quotations and are never presented as such.
- Real mythology: Bastet, folk beliefs, the nine-lives tradition — cited to real sources on the Mythology page.
- Images: every image is AI-generated dramatization art. No photographs of real people anywhere on this site.
The full policy lives in Methodology.
