Velvet Damnation Cat Jon
The velvet-black feline of the Nocturnals — dark glamour, emerald eyes, and nine lives of midnight. This is the complete reference: persona, lore, signature scenes, lines, mythology, stream, and the social pack.
Who he is
Velvet Damnation Cat Jon is a fictional character from the Vizlings app — a velvet-black cat with emerald eyes who prowls the midnight-blue world of the Velvet Damnation setting. He is not a real person, not a historical figure, and not a quotation source: he is a persona, written for chats and streams, and everything on this site treats him as one.
He moves like poured ink. He speaks like a slow song. He hosts The Velvet Club, a midnight establishment where the night’s strays, dreamers, and nocturnals gather — and he remembers every one of them, across all nine of his lives.

A note on what’s real
Two things on this site are real: the mythology (Bastet, folk belief about cats — cited to real sources) and the methodology (how we separate canon from invention). Everything else — Cat Jon, the club, the cast, the lines — is fictional character material, labeled as such. See Methodology for the full canon-vs-invention policy.
