AI-generated portrait of the fictional star commander Elias Venn, arms crossed on the starship bridge
AI-generated dramatization art (2026-09-26). Fictional character — not a real person.

Methodology

A fan reference for a fictional character — made plainly, with the fiction label on everything.

What this site is

This is a fan reference for a fictional character. Elias Venn is an original character from the Vizlings app, described on his card as “head star commander.” Everything on this site beyond that quoted card copy — the lore, the timeline, the missions, the crew, the sayings, the universe — is invented by the fan author for this reference. It is not official, not canon, and not a record of anything real.

The honesty rules

  1. Fiction is labeled fiction. Every content page carries a fiction note. Sayings labels every line as invented character dialogue. Nothing here is presented as a real quote, a real event, or a real person.
  2. Gaps are marked. Where the lore is silent — Venn’s family, the Vey, the years between postings — the site says so. Open blanks are declared, not papered over.
  3. Uncertainty is structural. In-world dates are given in a fictional calendar (Concord Years). The timeline (Timeline) explains the calendar before using it.
  4. Art is labeled art. Every illustration is AI-generated dramatization art, captioned as such on every appearance and recorded in the image credits on this page. No real people are depicted.

What this site won’t do

How the lore was built

From the seed outward: the card copy (“head star commander”) implies a command, a command implies a unit (the StarTeam), a unit implies a navy and polity (the Star Concord), and a commander implies a ship (the SCS Meridian), a crew, and decisions worth telling. Each invention was tested against the seed — does it serve command as the character’s core? The method is documented on Behind the Design.

Corrections

Fan lore is provisional by nature. If official Vizlings material contradicts anything here, the official material wins and this reference will be updated to match — with the change noted. If you spot an internal inconsistency, that’s a bug in the fiction, and it’s welcome feedback.
