Department of Synergy
Ensures all synergies are synergizing synergistically. Headcount: everyone, technically.

A guided tour of the entirely fictional corporate universe the Bussinessman inhabits — tower, departments, and all.
Eighty-eight floors of glass, brass, and ambition, located in a city that is deliberately never named (the lore keeps it vague; the skyline keeps it golden-hour). The lobby features a marble fountain shaped like a rising bar chart and a money tree that the Bussinessman waters personally every Friday. “It’s about nurturing growth,” he says. “Also it’s a ficus.”
The top floor is one enormous corner office with wraparound windows, a mahogany desk the size of a small aircraft carrier, and a conference table that seats forty — though meetings rarely need more than one chair, since, as established, they start when he arrives. The brass nameplate on the door reads simply THE BOSS. Underneath, in smaller letters: (fictional).
Ensures all synergies are synergizing synergistically. Headcount: everyone, technically.
Monitors who has bandwidth and redistributes it to those who merely claim to. Currently auditing the Bussinessman, who claims to have “infinite bandwidth and a full calendar.”
Guardians of the bottom line. Their motto: “The line must hold. Preferably while going up and to the right.”
Maintains the company orchard. Harvest season is year-round. Morale is high.
The golf course — where the Golf Course Treaty was signed (see adventures). Air Synergy One — his cartoon private jet, tail number N88SYNRG, with a gold dollar-sign on the tail. And the rooftop helipad, which has never once hosted a helicopter but hosts an excellent sunset.
