Why is “bussinessman” spelled with two S’s?
That’s how the character’s card spells it in the Vizlings app, and we quote the card verbatim. In the lore, his official explanation is: “Success needed the extra S more than the dictionary did.” Correcting the spelling is, fictionally, a fireable offense.
Is this site making fun of real executives?
No. The satire targets corporate jargon — synergy, bandwidth, circling back — not any person. The character himself is warm, loyal to his team, and the butt of his own jokes. Playful, never mean-spirited: that’s the house rule.
