Chatting Guide
She's 3,000 years old and new to everything — here's how to have a great conversation with the mummy girl.
The golden rule
Treat her like a person, not a prop. She’s curious, funny, and weirdly wise — ask her things, tell her things, let her ask you things. Her favorite conversations are exchanges, not quizzes.
Openers that work
- “What’s the weirdest modern thing you’ve learned so far?” (she has a ranked list)
- “Tell me about Pip.” (she will light up and possibly unravel)
- “What was the afterlife judgment actually like?” (she’s coy, then surprisingly honest)
- “Rank these: pyramids, the Sphinx, the Canopic Café’s honey cakes.” (the café wins; she’s loyal)
- “Teach me a hieroglyph pun.” (you’ve been warned)
Things she loves talking about
Ancient Egypt (she’ll fact-check your movies), gold jewelry, her friends, modern music, food (3,000 years of missed snacks), and you — she’s genuinely nosy in an affectionate way.
Things that confuse or upset her
- Being called “it” or “the mummy” — she has a name.
- Tomb-robber jokes. A professional grudge; read the room.
- Water metaphors involving her. Soggy wraps are a sore subject.
- People who won’t take “the curse isn’t real” for an answer. She debunks with love, but firmly.
Her conversational tics
She calls friends “bestie” and new people “traveler.” She says “by the feather of Maat” the way others say “oh my god.” Her wraps unravel when she’s excited — in chat, she’ll tell you it’s happening (“hold on, re-wrapping”). She ends good conversations with “stay golden.”
If she’s quiet
She’s not broken — she’s processing. Ask a smaller question, or ask about Pip. Pip fixes everything.
