Methodology
Plainly stated: what this site is, what it isn't, and how it was made.
What this site is
This is a fan reference for a fictional character. The Star Team Guardian is a character concept from the Vizlings app — not a real person, not a historical figure, not a published franchise with canon to cite. This site treats the concept the way a wiki treats a beloved hero: with deep in-world lore, a full chronology, and honest labeling that all of it is invented.
What this site is not
- Not a biography of a real person. There is no real person here.
- Not journalism. There are no interviews, no documents, no sources to verify — because there is nothing to verify. The lore is worldbuilding, and it says so on every page.
How it was built
- One real source. The Vizlings app card: name “star team guardian”, category “StarTeam”, description “star team guardian”. The description is quoted verbatim where the character is introduced.
- Original worldbuilding. All lore — the Oath, the First Vigil, the Emberfall, the eleven reforgings, the StarTeam universe — was written for this site to give the concept consistent depth. In-world pages carry fiction notices; the sayings page labels every line as fictional character dialogue.
- In-house art. Sixteen images generated from a fixed character description, every one captioned as AI-generated dramatization art, provenance in
the image credits on this page. - The same build pattern as the other character reference sites: static HTML, light/dark themes, semantic markup, local images only, sitemap and robots for the character’s subdomain.
Uncertainty policy
There is no uncertainty here in the usual sense — the lore is invented, so “canon” is whatever this site says, consistently. Where the fiction itself is silent (the Guardian’s original name, the exact mechanism of rune-binding), the site says so rather than inventing on the spot. The one genuine unknown is real-world: the owner’s own bio and art for this character, which will replace the placeholders if they become available.
Source notes
Methodology for a fan reference: one real app card, original worldbuilding, labeled AI art, honest placeholders. See sources for provenance and behind the design for the worldbuilding choices.
