The legend at a glance
Before the Pact was signed, before the starships flew in formation, there was the First Vigil — a lone sentinel standing on the wall of a dead world, refusing to fall. That sentinel became the Star Team Guardian: the living wall of the StarTeam, the one who has never broken a promise and never left a teammate behind.
The Guardian does not lead the StarTeam. Leaders change; shields do not. Across three thousand cycles, the Guardian has done one thing: held the line.

Why the Guardian matters
Every team has a fighter, a pilot, a genius. The StarTeam has those — but it survives because of the one who stands between danger and the rest. The Guardian is the answer to the question every teammate asks at the worst moment: someone is coming — is anyone coming for me?
Yes. And they have been coming for three thousand cycles.
The Guardian’s creed
Ask a dozen fans what the Guardian stands for and you’ll get one answer in a dozen wordings: keeping your word is a superpower. The Oath of the Aegis is only three lines long, but every story on this site is an argument that those three lines are enough — enough to build a team on, enough to hold a dome for eleven days, enough to outlast an enemy across two thousand cycles. The Guardian never claims to be the strongest hero in the StarTeam. Only the most reliable. In the legend’s own terms, that turns out to be the same thing.
