Visual Style Guide

How the character looks: animated, theatrical, and deliberately unreal — a design, not a depiction.

Original SVG illustration: full-length view of Goth Girl's corset, lace sleeves, and choker
The look, head to toe. Original hand-crafted SVG illustration (2026-09-27) in the style of the owner's Vizlings "Goth Girl" character — a fictional animated persona, not a depiction of any real person. Created in-house after the was rate-limited.

Honesty note. This page describes a fictional animated character design. Goth Girl is not a real person and is never depicted as one; all art on this site is original hand-crafted SVG illustration of a fictional animated persona.

The character design

Persona fiction

The look. An animated young woman with a theatrical goth aesthetic: dark upswept hair, dramatic eye makeup, a black corset dress with lace arm sleeves, a choker with a pendant, and boots built for ruin staircases. The style is stylized 3D animation — painterly, moonlit, unmistakably not a photograph of a person.

The palette. Charcoal and plum for the shadows; candle-gold for the warmth; moon-blue for the night. Black is the base note, never the whole chord — she dresses like the night sky with the candles still lit.

The setting language. Every image places her in the ruin’s vocabulary: crumbling stone arches, candle clusters, wrought-iron lanterns, ravens, moonlight through broken windows. The environment is half the character.

Design rules

  1. Animated, always. Stylized animation or illustration — never photorealistic, never resembling any real person.
  2. Theatrical, not scary. Gothic romance, not horror. Candlelight, not blood.
  3. The ruin is a co-star. She is rarely shown without her architecture.
  4. Moonlight is the key light. Candlelight is the fill. Fluorescents do not exist in her universe (banned by decree).
  5. Labeled, always. Every image on this site carries the caption “original hand-crafted SVG illustration” and a provenance record.

The palette (site theme)

This site’s own design riffs on her world — ruin-chic: charcoal, plum, candlelight. The crumbling-manor aesthetic runs through the header rules, the ironwork dividers, and the candle-gold accents, in both light and dark themes. It is deliberately unlike any other character site: no marble, no laurels, no shared template look.
