FAQ

Asked often, answered honestly. (See source notes.)

Is the Golden Black hero real?

No. He is an original fictional character from the Vizlings app (vizlings.com). There is no published comic, no film, no prior continuity. Everything on this site is original fiction written for the character.

What does the Vizlings app card actually say?

Verbatim: “Golden Black armor hero.” That’s the entire public description. This site builds its lore outward from that line, and says so everywhere.

Is this site official?

No. This is a fan-made reference site, built as a deep-dive dossier for the character. It is not affiliated with the Vizlings app or the character’s owner.

Who owns the character?

Where did the lore come from — the origin, the villains, the issues?

All of it was written originally for this site (2026-09-26): Kade Mercer, Aurum City, the six villains, the eight-issue saga. There is no source comic to cite, and this site never claims otherwise. In-universe consistency is maintained across all pages instead.

Are the quotes real?

The five signature lines are original lines written for this site’s dramatized recaps — presented as the saga’s dialogue, never as real-world quotations.

Are the images real photos?

No. Every image is AI-generated dramatization art, generated in-house . No real people are depicted. Each image is labeled, and provenance covers all 22.

Why black and gold?

In the site’s lore: the black plate drinks light (the Umbra Cloak — stealth), and the gold filigree is circuitry carrying the Heart’s power (strength). Thematically: gold as value versus gold as values — see themes & motifs.

Will there be more issues?

Year One ends with Issue #8, “Golden Hour”. The Platinum rematch and the Counterfeiter’s return are open threads. If the owner continues the character, this reference will follow.

Can I use the social images?

Yes — the social gallery images are downloadable at full resolution. They’re AI-generated dramatization art of an original fictional character; credit the site if you share them.
