Meet the Character

The character as the Vizlings app presents him — quoted exactly, with honest notes on what is and isn't available.

The app card, verbatim

The Vizlings app’s card description for this character reads, in full:

“Giacomo Casanova”

That is the complete card text as recorded in the production roster — the card carries the name alone, with no further description.

Owner bio

The art

No owner-supplied or app character art was available for this character (the roster records art_url: null). The portrait shown here is therefore not character art at all — it is the historical record:

Johann Berka's 1788 engraving of Giacomo Casanova, drawn from life — the one certain lifetime portrait — Johann Berka, engraved portrait of Giacomo Casanova drawn from life, March 1788 — frontispiece to *Icosameron*. Public domain. The one certain lifetime likeness; shown here as historical documentation, not as character art.

The dramatized stream uses AI-generated Venetian atmosphere art — never a face — clearly labeled on the stream page. The social gallery likewise uses only abstract, faceless imagery labeled as dramatization.

The historical person

For the documented life behind the character, start with the biography — or the timeline if you prefer dates.

Source notes

The card description is quoted verbatim from the Vizlings production roster (~/workspace/vizlings-roster/roster.json, entry giacomo-casanova, field card_description).
The roster records no public bio, no public page, and no art URL for this character; the placeholder above reflects exactly that.
