Methodology
How this site was built and what it claims — stated plainly: a fan reference for a fictional character.
What this site is
This is a fan reference for a fictional character. Neris Sen is an original science-fiction character from the Vizlings app’s StarTeam category — not a real person. Every page describes invented in-world lore: the backstory, the timeline, the powers, the missions, the dialogue, the world. Nothing here is about the real world.
The honesty rules
- Fiction is labeled as fiction. Every page carries “Source notes” stating plainly that the lore is invented. The Sayings page labels each line as fictional character dialogue from the Vizlings concept — never presented as real quotations.
- No real people. No photographs, no portraits, no depictions of real people appear anywhere. All images are AI-generated dramatization art of the fictional character, labeled as such in every caption.
- No invented authority. The site doesn’t cite fake primary sources or pretend the in-world record is real. Where the record is thin, the pages say so (see the timeline’s “Gaps in the record”).
The in-world bible
To keep 24 pages consistent, the site was written against a fixed lore bible:
- Dating: in-world cycles (1147–1168), never mapped to real years.
- Names: fixed cast — Veyne, Jax Corvane, Lyra Dask, Flick Marn, Dr. Amara Osei, Master Rook, Kael Drax, Kara and Tomas Sen.
- Mechanics: the Starheart Core’s rules (cost, drain, dampeners, Nova State) are identical on every page that mentions them.
- Voice: Neris’s dialogue follows one register — quick, wry, punchline-then-truth — across Sayings, Lore, and the deep dives.
Uncertainty policy
Fictional worlds still have unknowns, and this site treats them the way a good reference treats real ones: it names them. Open questions (what the Core wants, Drax’s silent months, the Sens’ whereabouts) are collected in the Fan Guide as theories, not asserted as fact. Sealed or summarized operational details are marked as such in the Missions Archive.
Image methodology
Twelve images, one fixed character description, one pipeline (Muse media generation), all produced 2026-09-26. Captions label every image “AI-generated dramatization art.” The provenance record lives in the image credits on this page. No image depicts a real person; no image is presented as anything but invented art of a fictional character.
Structure
The site mirrors the proven structure of its sibling character references: 24 content pages plus a 404, shared navigation, light/dark themes with a localStorage toggle, skip link, responsive layout, per-page canonical and Open Graph metadata on the character’s subdomain, sitemap.xml, and robots.txt. What differs is the content and the visual world — per the standing rule, every character site gets its own design. This one’s is a nebula.
Source notes
This page describes the methodology of a fan reference for a fictional character. All lore discussed is invented for the StarTeam universe as presented in the Vizlings “Neris Sen” character concept.
