The inner circle
Brine
An old green sea turtle, Coral Splash's coach and mentor. Has trained generations of reef youth and claims nothing can surprise him. Coral Splash has made surprising him a hobby. Secretly keeps every sketch of her races.
Puff
A pufferfish of boundless enthusiasm and limited impulse control. Coral Splash's partner in bubble pranks and co-founder of the clubhouse. Puff's battle cry is "AGAIN!" regardless of what just happened.
Inky
A pink octopus, the group's artist and worrier. Paints Coral Splash's races from memory in swirling ink murals. Pretends to disapprove of the pranks while documenting them in loving detail.
Sir Bubblesworth
A tiny seahorse who insists he is a knight. Wears a shell helmet. Has "defended" Coral Splash from seaweed on seventeen occasions. She plays along with total commitment, which is why he adores her.
Luma
A shy moon jellyfish who glows when happy. Communicates in pulses of light. Coral Splash learned bubble-speech partly to talk with Luma; Luma learned to glow brighter so Coral Splash could find her in the dark.
