A note on fiction: Cassidy Brooks is an original fictional character from the Vizlings app. Everything on this page — her stories, sayings, timeline, companions, and territory — is fictional lore written for the character, not real-world history or fact.

Atlas of the Territory

Everywhere Cassidy Brooks has ridden — all of it invented for the character.

Dustwater

Home

Her town. Boardwalks, water tower, marshal’s office, Doc Merritt’s forge, her mother’s general store. The High Noon Duel happened on Main Street at noon; the spot is still pointed out to visitors.

Copper Flats

Mining town

Sixty miles east, under Silas Vane’s thumb. Cassidy guides the night runs that get miners’ families out — and the dawn runs that get supplies in.

Ghost Mesa

Abandoned mine

The silver mine that caved twenty years back. Cassidy’s ventilation-shaft map — drawn “as a lark” — saved a survey crew in the Ghost Mesa adventure.

Red Wash

Canyon pass

Four hundred rides and counting. Narrow, red, and perfect for ambushes — which is why Cassidy always checks the rims and why nobody ambushes her twice.

The Painted Canyon

Wonder

Layered cliffs where the light changes every hour. Home of the ghost elk legend. Cassidy’s favorite place to end a ride.

The Salt River

River

Wide, shallow, treacherous in flood. The old fording line is Cassidy’s signature knowledge — and the reason sixteen people are alive after the Salt River Crossing.
