Orin Calder

Chemist warrior of Crucible Row — a soldier who fights with bottled lightning: thrown phials, catalyst blades, and smoke that thinks. This is a fan-style codex for a fictional character from the Vizlings app's Elementria world.

What this site is

Orin Calder is an original fantasy character from the Vizlings app (Elementria world), whose character card reads, verbatim: "chemist warrior". Everything here — the streets, the battles, the dialogue — is fan-style worldbuilding and dramatization built outward from that card. Nothing on this site describes the real world.

This codex covers:

The one-paragraph version

Orin Calder grew up sweeping the floors of The Green Flask, Master Apothecary Sarella Voss's shop on Crucible Row, and learned two trades at once: how to brew a tincture, and how to throw a bottle so it breaks exactly where you want it. When the Ashen Circle came for the quarter's glassworks on the Green Glass Night, the apprentice held a barricade with nothing but a bandolier of reagents and a brass catalyst gauntlet — and the Phialguard, the quarter's sworn chemist-warriors, recruited him on the spot. Now he fights the way he was taught to measure: twice, then once, and never a drop wasted. His doctrine is stenciled inside every Phialguard flask: measure twice, throw once.

How to use this site

  1. New here? Read Start Here.
  2. Want the story? Start with Lore, then the Timeline.
  3. Want the craft? See Abilities and the Field Manual.
  4. Want his voice? In-Character Lines — every line labeled as fictional dialogue.
A note on honesty. Orin Calder is fictional. The Vizlings app's character card for him reads "chemist warrior" — that is the only canonical source this site builds on, and it is quoted verbatim wherever it appears. All other lore is invented worldbuilding, clearly framed as such. In-character "quotes" are fictional dialogue written for this site, never presented as real statements. The owner's full character bio has not been released; the [Meet the Character](/meet-the-character) page says so plainly instead of inventing one. See the [methodology](/methodology).
