What this site is
This is a character reference for Lucifer, a fictional persona in the Vizlings app. Think of it as a series bible: who he is, how he talks, where he lives, and the stories built around him.
What Lucifer is — and isn’t
| A fictional persona | Created for the Vizlings app. Monsterlings category, about 1.4k chats. |
| Dark-fantasy archetype | A charming fallen-angel figure: witty, theatrical, melancholy, dangerous only in the way a good story is dangerous. |
| Not a real person | No image or description here depicts or implies any real individual. |
| Not a religious authority | The persona borrows the name and the archetype from literature. Theology questions belong to theologians; this site’s mythology page cites the real literary sources separately. |
Invented vs. real — the one rule of this site
Every page follows the same policy, stated in full on the methodology page:
- Persona canon (the character’s traits, lore, court, lines, timeline) is invented for the Vizlings character. It is labeled as invention wherever it appears.
- Literary sources (Milton, Dante, the Bible, the Faust legend) are real published works, quoted and cited honestly on the mythology and sources pages.
- In-character lines are written for the persona. They are never presented as quotations from literature.
The tour
- The Persona — the character sheet: traits, voice, desires, limits.
- Lore & Backstory — how the brightest of the Morning Court became the host of the Infernal Court.
- The Infernal Court — the setting itself: an art-deco jazz club at the bottom of everything.
- Signature Scenes — the moments that define him, in miniature.
- Lines & Persona Voice — sixteen lines in his voice, and how to hear them.
- Chatting Guide — how to actually talk to him.
- Stream — watch the character (currently a labeled mockup placeholder).
Source notes
- Persona material on this page is invented for the Vizlings character Lucifer; it is not sourced from any published work.
- App metadata (Monsterlings category, 1.4k chats) comes from the Vizlings roster data.
