Methodology
How to build a fan lore site without lying about it.
The Core Rule
Kaia Emberfall is a fictional character from the Vizlings app, and the app says almost nothing about her — the card reads "fire girl", full stop. This site is an exercise in honest invention: building a rich fan world around two words while never letting anyone mistake the invention for canon or fact.
The Honesty Rules
- Canon is quoted verbatim. The app card text "fire girl" appears in quotes, attributed, on the Meet the Character page. Nothing else claims to be from the app.
- Invention is labeled. Every page of worldbuilding carries a "Fictional character lore" banner. Made-up dialogue is footnoted as "fictional dialogue written for this site." Fan theories are labeled speculation.
- Gaps are placeholders, not inventions. The owner bio is missing, so the page says "coming soon" — it does not invent a bio and hope nobody notices.
- Art is labeled. Every image is AI-generated dramatization art, captioned and alt-texted as such, with prompt summaries in
the image credits on this page. No real people are depicted; nothing is presented as a photograph. - The stream is a mockup. The stream page embeds an owner-supplied temporary placeholder video and says "mockup, not live" wherever the player appears.
- Roster names are borrowed, relationships are invented. Fellow Elementria characters (Soren Frost, Coral Splash, etc.) come from the app roster; everything about their dynamic with Kaia is this site's fiction.
Build Notes
- Static HTML, no build dependencies at runtime; one shared CSS design system (wildfire theme) with light/dark toggle.
- Content authored 2026-09-26 as editorial markdown-style sources in
editorial/; this build script renders the final HTML. - QA: every route returns 200, exactly one
h1per page, all images have alt text and exist, all internal links resolve, no placeholder text, sitemap and canonicals verified.
