Amara Cole
Stellar navigator and deep-space scout of the StarTeam. Chart-maker of the Veil Nebula passage, discoverer of the Comet Road, and the Meridian's First Navigator. This is a fan reference for an original fictional character — every story here is invented lore, and every image is AI-generated dramatization art.
Meet the character
Amara Cole is an original character from the Vizlings app — a stellar navigator and scout serving with the StarTeam, the volunteer coalition of deep-space explorers whose charter was signed at Heliopause Station. She is a young woman with very long black hair, a silver-and-violet scout uniform stitched with the star charts of her missions, and a brass-and-violet astrolabe at her belt that she has carried since childhood.
Character description (verbatim from the Vizlings app card):
body star black hair female

Who she is
Amara Cole was born in STC 9 aboard the Kestrel Drift, a nomadic habitat cluster that rides the tail-wake of Comet Liora. The Driftborn do not have street addresses; they have ephemerides. Amara learned to read the sky before she learned to write — her grandmother Yara, the Drift’s cartographer, taught her that a star chart is not a picture of where things are, but a promise about where they will be.
At twenty-seven she did what no navigator had managed in a century: she charted the Cole Passage, a navigable lane through the Veil Nebula, and handed the StarTeam a road to the Outer Relay. The StarTeam recruited her on the spot. Seven years later she discovered the Comet Road — a chain of long-period comets whose synchronized perihelia form a navigable current across the Shattered Reach — and redrew the map of the known universe a second time.
She serves as First Navigator of the scout starship Meridian, mentor to the junior scout Neris Sen, and the StarTeam’s standing answer to the question every deep-space crew eventually asks: how do we get home?
Her answer, worn on her uniform in embroidered star charts that grow with every mission: read the light, ride the comets, and never stop redrawing the map.
The Comet Road
The Comet Road is Amara’s great discovery and the signature image of her character: a chain of long-period comets — Liora, Vesper’s Tear, the Lantern Twins, Cold Ember — whose orbits align once a generation into a navigable current. Riding it, a ship can cross the Shattered Reach in weeks instead of years. The Road made the StarTeam’s outer expansion possible, made Amara famous, and made her enemies — the Umbral Combine would pay anything for her charts. She has never sold them, and she never will.
The animated stream
A separate project — a YouTube live channel featuring Amara as an animated character, charting the stars and answering questions in real time — is documented on the Stream page. That page describes the character as AI-generated dramatization art and currently embeds a temporary owner-supplied mockup video, clearly labeled as a placeholder rather than a live broadcast. Downloadable character art lives on the Social Pack page.
