The thirty-second version
Aeron Skyrift is a fictional space-hero military officer from the Vizlings app (card description: “Space Hero Military”). In fan lore, he is a Fleet Admiral of the Concord Starfleet who joined the StarTeam — a special-operations unit of exceptional individuals — as its tactician. He plans the battles, runs the fleet, and keeps the heroes alive long enough to be heroic.
The three-minute version
Aeron was born in Cinderport, a foundry district on the forge-world Veyra-3, and entered the Concord Naval Academy at sixteen. He graduated top of his class and rose from ensign to Fleet Admiral across three decades of war against the Hollow Maw — a void-born raider force that has menaced the Concord for a generation.
His reputation rests on three things:
- The Chevron Protocol — a doctrine of coordinated fleet maneuvers he developed as a young commander. Ships move in interlocking chevrons, each covering the next. It turned the Concord’s outnumbered wings into a force the Maw learned to fear.
- The map room — his famous insistence that wars are won before the first shot is fired. Staff officers who served under him say he could hold an entire theater of war in his head: every ship, every supply line, every weather system on every contested world.
- The Veyra Evacuation — when his own homeworld came under attack, he organized the evacuation of two million civilians in eleven days without losing a single transport. It is the operation fans cite first, and the one he refuses to discuss.
After the Trelayne Summit — where he personally held the council chamber against a Maw strike team — he was recruited into the StarTeam. There he does what he has always done: he makes the plan, assigns the roles, and takes responsibility when the plan fails.
How he fits the StarTeam
Every team needs someone who thinks in logistics while everyone else thinks in glory. Isla Renn keeps the engines running, Zyx flies like a rumor, Jorenn patches the wounded — and Aeron decides where they go and in what order. He is the only member of the team with formal military rank, and he wears it lightly: on missions he introduces himself as “Rift, tactics,” not “Fleet Admiral.”
