No owner-supplied biography exists yet. If the character’s owner publishes one, it will appear here verbatim, replacing this placeholder. Until then, everything below is fan interpretation — not a substitute for the owner’s words.
The fan interpretation
Creative interpretation
In this site’s reading, Nico Calder is a twenty-something kinetic sculptor working out of a sunlit loft studio he calls the Windshop. He builds mobiles — hanging sculptures of painted metal shapes balanced on black steel wire, set in motion by nothing but air currents — in the tradition of Alexander Calder, whose surname Nico cheerfully pretends is a coincidence.

Signature traits
Perpetually paint-speckled. Talks to inanimate objects while balancing them. Celebrates near-misses louder than successes. Cannot walk past a breeze without sketching what it could move.
He is not famous-famous. In the interpretation’s little world, he is gallery-famous: the guy whose opening nights smell of cut metal and fresh paint, whose mobiles end up in children’s museums because kids are the only critics honest enough to lie under them and stare up.
