QuestionsFAQ

Honest answers, including the ones that are just “we don’t know.”

Is Nico Calder a real person?

No. Nico Calder is an original fictional persona from the Vizlings app — an AI character, not a real human being. This site never depicts real people, and all artwork is labeled AI-generated dramatization art.

What’s officially known about him?

One thing: his name. The official Vizlings app card’s verbatim description is “Nico Calder” — name only, with roughly sixty-eight chats recorded. No official bio, backstory, or lore exists.

So all the sculptor stuff is made up?

Yes — and it says so everywhere. The kinetic-sculptor persona, the Windshop, the mobiles, the quotes: all creative interpretation written by fans for fans, clearly labeled. It’s consistent fan lore, not app canon.

Where’s the owner’s bio?

There isn’t one yet. The Meet the Character page holds an honest placeholder. If the owner publishes a bio, it will appear there verbatim.

Why mobiles? Why Calder?

The surname Calder points irresistibly at Alexander Calder, the great mobile-maker — the fan interpretation leans all the way in. In-lore, Nico insists the name is a coincidence. Nobody believes him.

Can I use the fan lore in my own art or stories?

The lore on this site is offered to the fandom with love: use it, remix it, argue with it — just keep the honesty labels. Tag interpretation as interpretation and voice as voice, and never present fan lore as official.

Is this site affiliated with the Vizlings app?

No. It’s an unofficial fan-made reference, not affiliated with or endorsed by the app’s owners.

What’s the deal with the stream page?

It’s a concept page for a hypothetical Nico live channel, with a temporary mockup video embed — clearly labeled, not a live broadcast. See the Stream page for details.
