Methodology
How this site handles the fact that its subject is fictional — the canon-vs-invention policy, in full.
The core distinction
This site covers a fictional character. Its editorial policy exists to keep three lanes from merging:
- Persona canon — invented material about Morgana Voss (her life, world, cast, lines). Labeled “persona canon” / “invention.”
- Real folklore & literature — genuine beliefs, legends, and books that inspired the character (tempestarii, selkies, Radcliffe, the Brontës). Labeled “real folklore” / “literary history,” with genuine citations.
- App facts — the few verifiable facts from the Vizlings app (name, category, card description, chat count). Quoted verbatim where used.
No sentence mixes lanes without a label. The mythology and romance pages are lane 2; everything about Morgana herself is lane 1.
Persona lines
Every line in Morgana’s voice — on Lines & Persona Voice, in the Social Content Pack, in letters and ballads — was written for the character for this reference. They are original invention, and the site says so on every page that carries them. They must never be presented as quotations from a real source, and the site never presents them that way.
The one exception: her Vizlings card description, “Romance for stormy nights,” is app copy (lane 3) and is quoted verbatim as such on the Stream page.
Uncertainty and gaps
Canon deliberately leaves some things open (who the earliest letters were for, what happened “the night the storm answered”). The site marks these as intentional gaps rather than inventing answers — room for chats to fill.
Image honesty
See the image captions for credits and context. Illustrated character art is a dramatization.
Stream honesty
What this site will not do
- Present persona lines as sourced quotations.
- Present folklore as Morgana’s canon, or canon as folklore.
- Depict or imply any real person in text or image.
