Meet Katy
Five minutes to meet the rose-and-gold royal of the Royals world — who she is, what she believes, and how this site tells her story.
Katy in 60 seconds
Katy is a fictional storybook princess from the Royals world of the Vizlings app. She lives at the Rosewater Palace, wears a rose-gold tiara (slightly crooked, on purpose — she says it keeps her humble), and runs on three things: warm tea, good ribbons, and the conviction that everyone at court deserves a curtsy, from the queen to the kitchen staff.
She is known for:
- Kindness as policy — her first royal decree, in the telling of this site, was that the palace doors stay open to anyone with a story to tell.
- Ribbon diplomacy — disagreements at court are settled over tea, and the loser ties the winner’s sash. Nobody remembers who won; everybody remembers the tea.
- The twirl — her signature spin, performed at every ball, celebration, and garden party, and occasionally in the throne room when she thinks no one is looking.
What she is not
- She is not a historical figure. No crown on this site ever sat on a real head.
- She is not a biography of any real person, living or dead.
- Her words on the In Her Words page are in-character lines written for this site — labeled as character voice, never presented as app dialogue.
The three things to carry away
- Warmth is her superpower. The site’s whole read on Katy is that royalty, to her, is a service job with better dresses.
- The world is the co-star. The Rosewater Palace, the royal garden, the ballroom, and the court around her get as much love as she does — see Royals World Lore.
- Honesty is the house rule. Every page ends with Honesty notes saying what is roster fact, what is editorial storytelling, and what is AI art.
