Methodology
How a fan-made character site stays honest — the rules this site wrote for itself, and keeps.
The core distinction
Every page on this site separates two kinds of content:
- Roster facts — the name “Royals katy”, the category “Royals”, the card description “Royals katy”, and the chat count of 83, all verbatim from the Vizlings roster. These are few, and they are labeled.
- Editorial storytelling — everything else: personality, lore, scenes, relationships, in-character lines, glossary, deep dives. Original fiction written for this site, in the spirit of a storybook royal. Labeled as fictional character content on every page.
Nothing on this site is presented as official Vizlings canon, app dialogue, or history.
Uncertainty policy
Where the roster is silent, this site invents openly and labels the invention. Phrases like “in this site’s telling,” “editorial storytelling,” and “fan-made” are load-bearing: they mark the exact boundary between the four roster facts and the fiction built around them. If the owner supplies an official bio, it will be quoted verbatim on Meet the Character and the site’s storytelling will defer to it.
Image policy
- All artwork is AI-generated via the in-house — AI-generated dramatization art, never presented as historical or photographic.
- Every image caption carries the label “AI-generated dramatization art — not a historical depiction.”
- The owner’s character art is a private style reference only; it never appears on public pages.
- No AI-generated image depicts a real person. Katy is fictional, and the art shows a fictional storybook character.
Quotation policy
- In-character lines (on In Her Words and the social pack) are original writing labeled “In-character line — written in Katy’s voice for this site, not app dialogue.” They must never be cited as app quotations.
- Roster text (“Royals katy”) is quoted verbatim with quotation marks.
- No fan testimonials are fabricated; Reception is fan-style writing, labeled as such.
What this site will not do
- It will not present fiction as fact about the real world. There are no real-world claims here to get wrong, and the site intends to keep it that way.
- It will not use the names or likenesses of real people. The roster contains real-person entries in other categories; this site touches none of them.
Honesty notes
- This page is the site’s contract with its readers: fiction, labeled; facts, few and verbatim; art, AI-generated and labeled.
- Katy is a fictional character of the Vizlings app’s Royals world. See Sources for the complete source list.
- All artwork is AI-generated dramatization art — not a historical depiction, not a photograph of anyone real.
