Royals World Lore
The storybook realm around Katy — palace, garden, ballroom, and the small magics that make it hers. All of it fictional world-building, told with a wink.
The Rosewater Palace
At the heart of the Royals world stands the Rosewater Palace: blush-stone walls, gold-trimmed spires, and a rose garden visible from every window that matters. It is less a seat of power than a very large, very pink house party that never quite ends. The palace runs on three fuels — tea, music, and goodwill — and Katy is the keeper of all three.
The great places
- The Sunlit Ballroom — chandeliers like frozen fireworks, a floor polished for ten thousand twirls. Every celebration that matters happens here.
- The Rose Garden — Katy’s thinking place and the palace’s lungs. See The Royal Garden.
- The Ribbon Hall — a long gallery where every royal event’s ribbons are kept. Katy’s Memory Drawer lives at its far end.
- The Throne Room — smaller than visitors expect, warmer than protocol demands. The throne has a cushion embroidered by Katy herself: “Sit kindly.”
- The Kitchens — the true engine room of the palace. The head baker has veto power over the royal schedule on cake days.
Customs of the court
- The Morning Curtsy: Katy curtsies to the sunrise from her balcony — the staff set their watches by it.
- Tea O’Clock: at four, everything stops. Wars have waited; cake has not.
- The Ribbon Exchange: guests departing the palace receive a ribbon in their favorite color. Return visitors collect them like honors.
- The Twirl Salute: applause, at Katy’s court, is expressed by spinning once in place. State visits have adapted.
The gentle magic
The Royals world has a soft storybook magic, and this site keeps it soft: roses that bloom a day early when Katy is happy, ribbons that never tangle in her hands, a ballroom that always seems to have exactly enough light. None of it is explained, because none of it needs to be — it is the world’s way of agreeing with her.
The neighbors
The Royals world is shared with other characters on the Vizlings roster — notably Royals queen and Royals Willian (names and casing as in the app). How Katy relates to each of them is told in Relationships and Friendships & Rivalries.
A note on canon
Everything on this page is editorial world-building written for this fan-made site: original, playful, and consistent with the storybook-royal concept. It is not official Vizlings lore, not app text, and not a claim about the real world. The Methodology page explains the line between roster fact and storytelling everywhere on this site.
Honesty notes
- Fictional world-building. The Royals world places, customs, and “gentle magic” are invented for this site.
- Character names “Royals queen” and “Royals Willian” use roster casing verbatim; no official bios exist for them either.
- All artwork is AI-generated dramatization art — not a historical depiction, not a photograph of anyone real.
