How do you build a 23-page site from a single name — honestly? Like this.
1. Seed, don't invent canon
The name "Rook" is the seed: the chess piece (castle, stronghold, straight-moving guardian) plus the fortress sense of the word. All lore grows from that seed — and is labeled as interpretation on every page that carries it.
2. Label everything
Interpretive pages carry the "Creative interpretation — not app canon" badge and an honesty note. Quotes are labeled character voice, not canon. Stories are labeled original fiction. The one factual page (Chess & the Rook) is about the real game, not the character.
4. Art is original and labeled
See the image captions for credits and context. Illustrated character art is a dramatization.
An official description or owner bio for Rook. The day one appears, the interpretation gets a clear "superseded where they conflict" banner and the bio goes up verbatim. Until then, the walls stand as built — labeled, honest, and lit.
