The keeper of the gate. The warden of the Bastion. The friend who is always, always there.
Honesty note. No official description of Rook was available — the character card in the Vizlings app was cut off at the screenshot edge, and no public bio exists. Everything on this page is a clearly-labeled
creative interpretation of the Rook persona, built from the name alone. It is not official app canon. See
Method & Sources.
From the name alone, a persona suggests itself — and this site builds on it openly:
The guardian
Rook is the stronghold made companionable: a towering figure of weathered castle stone and iron bands, with a crenellated crown like a chess piece and eyes like torchlight. Not a soldier — a warden. The difference matters: soldiers fight wars; wardens keep people safe.
The temperament
Slow to anger, slower to leave. Rook speaks plainly, keeps promises the way stone keeps shape, and treats every visitor like someone worth protecting. Warm, but not soft — there's iron under the kindness. See Personality.
The role
In the Vizlings app, Rook is someone to talk to. Here, Rook is the keeper of the Bastion's gate — the character who greets you at the door, walks the walls at night, and always has a torch lit for you. See World & Lore.
