A note on canon. Rhea Stormwake is an original fictional character from the Vizlings app. The only app-canon facts used on this site are her name, her pirate persona, and her official card description (quoted verbatim on Meet the character). Everything else here — her ship, crew, voyages, and words — is clearly-labeled creative interpretation written for fans, never presented as app canon.
Methodology
The honesty policy: how a fan site stays truthful about a fictional character.
The core problem
Rhea Stormwake is an original fictional character with a very small official footprint: a name, a pirate persona, and a three-word card description ("pirate red female"). A companion site needs more than three words to be worth visiting — but inventing lore and presenting it as canon would be dishonest. This page is the policy that resolves the tension.
The canon/interpretation boundary
- App canon = facts from the Vizlings app: name, persona, verbatim card description, card activity (~26 chats). Quoted exactly, cited always.
- Creative interpretation = everything else on this site: ship, crew, code, voyages, legends, shanties, quotes, treasures, rivals, fan guide. Original writing, labeled as such on every page.
- The two are never mixed without a label. The Meet the character page shows the boundary working in miniature.
Labeling rules
- Character-voice writing is always introduced as character voice.
- In-world legends are framed as tales told by fictional sailors — stories about Rhea, not claims.
- The fictional "Wake reckoning" calendar keeps the timeline from being mistaken for history.
Image honesty
- All art is AI-generated dramatization art, generated in-house, labeled in every caption and recorded in the image credits on this page.
- No real people are depicted. Rhea is an original fictional character; her art depicts no one real.
- Social pack images carry their text baked in, set inside a central safe zone with at least 15% edge margins, so nothing is ever chopped.
