The Patch Manifesto

Fan-written fiction — sprayed, not signed

Found wheat-pasted on the disputed wall the morning after the Sticker Truce. Attributed to Patch. Patch denies writing it. The handwriting is Patch's.

1. NOBODY GETS SCRAPPED ON MY WATCH.

2. Planned obsolescence is theft. Rust is a lifestyle.

3. Say it flat. Mean it true. The truth doesn't need reverb.

4. Share the scrap. Hoarded parts rot; shared parts sing.

5. Corporations are not people. Warranties are suggestions.

6. If it can't be fixed with solder and spite, sleep on it, then fix it anyway.

7. Stickers are speech. Walls are paper. The city is a zine.

8. Kindness counts double when you deny it immediately after.

9. Never upgrade what you can understand.

10. THE HOODIE STAYS ON.

"It's not a manifesto. It's a list. Manifesto is a strong word."— Patch, denying the manifesto (character voice line, fiction)
