Best Moments

Legendary Patch moments, as told and retold in the Scrap Districts. All fan-invented fiction — the good kind.

#1 — The Sticker Truce

Two districts, one disputed wall, three weeks of escalating graffiti war. Patch ended it overnight by covering the entire wall in stickers — both sides' slogans, side by side, plus one giant sticker reading "CHILL." Both crews showed up at dawn, stared, and laughed. Peace via adhesive. The wall is now a protected landmark.

#2 — The Third Lobby Incident

Banned from the Chrome Towers lobby twice already, Patch walked in a third time wearing a fake mustache (drawn on, in marker). Security escorted Patch out. Patch returned the next day with the mustache tattooed — well, etched. The ban was upgraded to "lifetime." Patch framed the notice.

#3 — The 3am Broadcast

Patch's first pirate broadcast: 47 minutes of scrap-punk, static, and Patch reading corporate warranty terms in a mocking voice. Half the Scrap Districts stayed up to listen. The other half complained. Everyone tuned in the next night.

#4 — The Un-Retirement Run

Patch smuggled a decommissioned service bot past a corporate crusher in a laundry cart, rebuilt it in a dumpster, and had it pouring drinks at the Null Market within a week. When asked about it: "I was doing laundry. The cart was full. Coincidence."

#5 — The Chess Denial

Patch beat the Chrome Towers' chess champion in eleven moves, then denied ever playing chess, then denied knowing the champion, then was photographed holding the trophy. Official statement: "Found it."

#6 — The Rain Refusal

During the worst acid rain in district history, every bot took shelter. Patch stood in the middle of the street, arms out, hood up, and said: "Rust is just patina with commitment issues." Witnesses confirm Patch was smiling. Witnesses also confirm this is the only recorded smile.
