Code of Steel
She doesn't follow rules. She *has* a code. The distinction matters — creative interpretation throughout.
Creative interpretation
Nikki Steele is allergic to other people’s rules and absolute about her own. This is the code, as interpreted for this site:
The articles
- Cut the noise. If it doesn’t matter, it doesn’t get time.
- Precision is respect. Do it right or don’t do it. Sloppiness is an insult to everyone involved.
- Loyalty is total. Once someone is yours, they’re yours — no probation, no conditions, no exit interviews.
- Never punch down. The edge is for equals and threats, never for the vulnerable.
- Fix what you can. With your hands if possible. She trusts the tangible.
- Don’t explain the cut. Say the precise thing once. Let it land.
- Keep moving. Stillness is stagnation. Rest is motion at a different speed.
- One red line. Mark what matters. Ration the red.
What the code costs her
A code this rigid has edges of its own. She’s lost people who couldn’t keep up, burned bridges she later needed, and mistaken rest for surrender more than once. The code doesn’t bend — that’s the point, and that’s the price.
