Episode Guide
Every run's a story. These are the best ones.
Season highlights
1. "The Wedding Cake Run"
Dash's first official delivery: a wedding cake across town in a thunderstorm, eleven minutes, cake level. The legend starts here.
2. "The Midnight Run" (team-up with Willie)
The Golden Grain's headliner is stranded crosstown with minutes to showtime. Dash takes the corkscrew at full tilt and the show goes on. Fan-favorite.
3. "The Great Traffic Jam"
Gridlock Gary's masterpiece: the whole city gridlocks on festival day. Dash delivers the entire parade's lunch on foot, weaving between bumpers. Gary is furious. The city is fed.
4. "Rain or Shine or Parmesan"
Parmesan Snow Day. The mountain clinic needs medicine; the roads are closed. Triple-knot, blizzard, go. The hallway gets named after him. Fan-favorite.
5. "The Jukebox Bet"
A rival runner bets Dash he can't finish his route before the song ends. Dash takes the bet, the song, and the rival's milkshake money. (He shares the milkshake. He's fast, not mean.)
6. "Rookie Day"
Dash trains the new class: the corkscrew lecture, the double-knot drill, the speech. One rookie asks if he ever walks. The whole depot laughs for ten minutes.
7. "The Night Shift"
A quiet episode — relatively. Dash covers the overnight route and discovers the city at 3 a.m.: the bakers, the fishermen, the jazz club letting out. He delivers a lot of quiet kindnesses before dawn.
8. "The DashDash Derby"
The couriers' city-wide race. Dash runs it backwards (cap forwards, for irony) to give the rookies a chance. He still wins. The rookies love him anyway.
Running gags
- The eternally spinning milkshake at the window booth
- Waffle Wendy's stopwatch (never recorded a late delivery)
- Pretzel Pete's stories getting longer every telling
- The pigeons' union negotiations (ongoing)
