Behind the Scenes
Built fast. Built right.
What this site is
A fan-made character-world reference for Dash, an original cartoon character from the Vizlings app's Macaronis world. Built as a static site: fast, self-contained, no trackers, no accounts. (Dash approves of the load times.)
The art: 100% in-house
Every illustration on this site — the character portraits, the delivery runs, the diner scenes, the social pack — was generated in-house for this character, in one consistent 3D-cartoon style. The full list, with prompt summaries, lives in the image credits on this page.
The honesty rules, applied everywhere:
- Every image caption says "AI-generated dramatization art."
- No real people are depicted anywhere — the character is an original cartoon breadstick person.
- The character's look stays consistent across the site: same golden grissini, same red cap (backwards), same courier jacket.
The words
All stories are in-world fiction, written for this site — origin, episodes, quotes (labeled as character dialogue), deep dives into the Macaronis world. The one exception is quoted verbatim and marked: the app-card description ("worker stick"), reproduced exactly as it appears in the source data — all two words of it.
The placeholders (honest ones)
- Stream: a temporary mockup video, clearly labeled "not a live broadcast," until the permanent channel connects.
- Card description: exactly two words; quoted in full, never padded by invention.
The tech
Static HTML + CSS, generated from page content by a small build script. Subdomain wiring (dash.sembrance.com) with absolute canonical URLs, Open Graph tags, sitemap.xml, and robots.txt. A production QA pass checks every link, image, and label before each publish. Total build time: faster than a Dash delivery. (Everything is, compared to Dash.)
Who made this
Built by the site team for fans of the character — at top speed, with receipts.
Source notes
In-world fiction. Everything on this page describes the fictional world of the Macaronis and the Vizlings app character it profiles. None of it documents real people, real places, or real events; any resemblance to real venues or neighborhoods is purely atmospheric.
Artwork. Every illustration on this site is AI-generated dramatization art, created in-house for this fictional character. No real people are depicted anywhere on this site.
