Zoomedia
An anthropomorphic animal world where the water is always the right temperature and nobody is ever in a rush. Here is the fan-mapped corner capybara calls home.
The Big Pond
The center of capybara's universe and the social heart of this corner of Zoomedia. Shallow, sun-warmed, ringed with cattails and lotus beds. The water is famously "exactly right," a measurement the locals refuse to define further. This is where the floating happens, where the companions gather, and where the great naps of legend occur.
The Sand Flats
Warm, golden banks on the pond's eastern curve — prime napping real estate. The sand here holds the day's warmth long after sunset, which local scientists (a heron with strong opinions) confirm is ideal for dozing.
Willow Bank
A curtain of weeping willows on the western shore. Dappled shade, excellent breeze, and the site of the legendary century-nap — see the timeline.
Lotus Beds
Where the pond's famous lotus lanterns grow. At dusk they glow softly — nobody knows why, and the pond's residents have collectively agreed not to investigate, lest the mystery be disturbed.
The Snack Grove
Melon vines, riverside grasses, and the occasional miraculous watermelon. Foraging here is less "gathering food" and more "a slow walk with delicious interruptions." Full menu: snack guide.
How Zoomedia works (fan version)
Zoomedia is an anthropomorphic animal world — animals walk, talk, nap, and run snack groves like anyone else. The standing rule of this particular pond: no predators before noon, no drama ever. All of this is invented fan worldbuilding for an original fictional setting.
