Pond companions
The most welcoming back in Zoomedia. Everyone floats together.
The open-boarding policy
Any creature may board capybara's back at any time, no ticket, no questions. The only rule: nap quietly or snack politely. The policy has never been revoked and never will be.
🦆 The ducks
First aboard, historically. They paddle alongside on long drifts and provide wake-up quacks that nobody asked for and everybody forgives.
🐢 The turtle
Starboard regular. Understands slowness at a philosophical level. Has been "about to say something" since the melon summer.
🐸 The frog
Holds seniority — claimed the spot behind the left ear years ago and never elaborated. Serves as pond theologian with a colleague.
🐦 The bird
Rides the lotus crown on special occasions. Provides aerial nap-quality assessments.
🪷 The dragonflies
Not passengers; escorts. They shimmer ahead of every drift like a tiny honor guard.
🫵 You
Yes, you. The pond has no guest list. Find a spot on the back and settle in.
Boarding etiquette
- Step on gently; the back is a shared space.
- Claimed spots are honored forever (see: the frog).
- Departure is by drifting off — no goodbyes required.
