Methodology

How to build an honest reference for someone who doesn't exist: this site's methodology, stated plainly.

The premise, stated plainly

This is a fan reference for a fictional character. Adrian Halden is a character concept from the Vizlings app — not a real person, not a historical figure, not the subject of any published book, show, or game. This site documents nothing real. It invents, openly, around a three-word character card.

What was supplied vs. what was invented

Supplied by the app The character description, verbatim: “star blue male.”
Invented by this site Everything else: the backstory, the StarTeam, the crew, the ship, the universe, the missions, the timeline, the abilities, the signature lines.

The rule: invention is always labeled as invention. No page presents fan lore as canon. No line of dialogue is presented as an official quote. The footer of every page restates this.

The dialogue policy

The Sayings page collects signature lines written by this site’s authors in the character’s voice. Each line carries an individual honesty label — “Fictional character dialogue — Adrian Halden, written for the Vizlings concept.” The page’s introduction states explicitly that these are not quotes from any published work and were not said by any real person. If the owner supplies official character dialogue in the future, official lines will be distinguished from fan-written ones.

Dates and calendars

All in-world dates use Concord Years (CY), a fictional calendar with no real-world correspondence. The site never mixes CY dates with real dates in a way that could confuse the two.
