Fan Guide
How to enjoy, share, and build on the concept: a guide for fans of the fictional StarTeam hero.
If you’re new
Start with Start Here, then read Lore and Timeline. That gives you the whole character in about twenty minutes. If you only read one more page, make it Missions — the operations are the concept at its best.
The essential three
- The Belt Storm (CY 194) — the origin. A twelve-year-old steps into a shield breach. (Timeline)
- The Hollow Crown duel (CY 228) — the rivalry. Overwhelming force, zero funerals. (Missions)
- The Meridian Gambit (CY 238) — the cost. He spends himself past every limit, on purpose. (Missions)
These three events are the character’s spine: what made him, what defines him, what he paid.
Sharing the concept
The Social Pack page offers ten downloadable character images — portraits, action scenes, and ship art — all AI-generated dramatization art, free to share with credit to this fan reference. Pair them with any of the signature lines on Sayings (each labeled as fictional dialogue). If you post about the character, the site’s one request: keep the honesty labels attached. He’s fictional; the art is AI-generated; the lore is fan invention. That’s not a disclaimer — it’s part of the concept’s integrity.
Making your own stories
This is an unofficial fan reference, and the universe is built to be played in. A few open threads the lore deliberately leaves for fans:
- The Lost Fleet — the biggest open question. What’s out in Hollow Space? The lore’s answer is “nobody knows,” which is an invitation.
- Marrow’s rematch — the rivalry isn’t resolved. How does it end?
- Quinn’s research — can flareburn be cured? The lore says “not yet,” which is not the same as “never.”
- The founding six, before — what were Vane, Solis, Quinn, Morr, and Faye doing before Halden hired them? The site sketches; fans can fill.
The site’s only ground rule for fan works: label what’s yours. The honesty policy on Methodology applies to everyone.
The stream
The Stream page documents the concept for a YouTube channel featuring an animated Adrian Halden character — currently a clearly-labeled mockup placeholder, not a live broadcast. When it connects, this guide will add viewing recommendations.
