World Guide: Elementria's Great Rivers

The waters Whit calls home. This is fan-made fictional geography for the Vizlings app's Elementria world — none of it is official.

The Rushing Tine

Whit’s home river: fast, loud, and famously rude to boulders. It drops off the plateau at the Great Falls, tears through Split Rock Canyon, and has never once been described as "peaceful" by anyone who has met it. Whit was born in its foam and has run every mile of it at least twice.

The Great Falls

A cliff-edge waterfall a mile wide where the Tine becomes weather. The plunge pool at its foot is Whit's birthplace ("First Foam" — see Lore). The mist sprites who named Whit still live in the spray and still take credit.

Fan-made

The Foamfall

A tributary that joins the Tine above Split Rock Canyon — smaller, steeper, and even louder per mile than the Tine itself. Young rapids spirits train on the Foamfall's side-channels (see Training). Its standing waves are the best in Elementria, and the herons know it.

Fan-made

The Quiet Reach

The one slow stretch of the Tine, a glassy pool where Old Eddy the elder river spirit holds court. Whit visits the Reach the way a thunderstorm visits a library: briefly, apologetically, and never without causing a scene. The Reach matters because it is where Whit learns to listen.

Fan-made

The Great Confluence

Where the Tine meets the Foamfall and three smaller rivers besides — five currents becoming one. The fan timeline's third arc ends here, with Whit's Confluence Call. River folk from every watershed gather at the Confluence for the spring flood festival, and Whit is contractually obligated to make a splash. Literally.

How the rivers fit together

Upstream to down: the Tine is born in the plateau springs, becomes the Great Falls, tears through Split Rock Canyon, slows at the Quiet Reach, and finally joins the Foamfall and the lesser rivers at the Great Confluence. Every story arc on the Timeline moves downstream — because in Whit's world, the story only ever goes one way: forward, fast.
