Sources & Provenance

Where every fact, quote, and image on this site comes from — and what is fan invention.

Official sources

• The Vizlings app character card for “The Liar” / “Liar”: card description “Every story has a twist” (quoted verbatim throughout this site). The app showed two cards (“The Liar” and “Liar”), merged here into one entry — noted honestly wherever relevant.
• vizlings.com — the home of the Vizlings app and its characters.

These are the only official sources. The app card’s five-word description is the only canonical text this guide draws on.

Fan-created content

All lore, timelines, personality analysis, twists, stories, voice lines, games, and glossary definitions beyond the card description are original fiction written by this site’s editors. Each page carries a fiction label; methodology documents the process and boundaries.

Image provenance

Every image on this site is AI-generated dramatization art created in-house in 2026 — no real people are depicted, and no image claims to be official Vizlings artwork. The full record — file, prompt, and label — lives in the image credits on this page in the site’s source tree. Captions on every illustrated page repeat the AI-generated label.

What we don’t do

• We don’t invent owner statements, interviews, or official lore.
• We don’t present fan fiction as canon.
• We don’t use real people’s photos or likenesses anywhere on the site.
