Methodology
The honesty policy. How this guide handles the fact that its subject is a fictional AI chat character with a two-word official description.
The core problem
Tansy is a fictional AI chat character from the Vizlings app whose entire official description is two words: “purple ponytails”. A 23-page guide built on that foundation must be radically honest about what is known, what is invented, and what is placeholder — or it becomes fanfiction wearing a reference site’s clothes.
The rules this site follows
1. Fiction is always labeled. Every lore page carries a fiction notice. The timeline is ordered as “story beats, not dates.” Nothing is presented as canon, because no canon exists yet.
2. The app description is quoted verbatim. “purple ponytails” appears exactly as the app wrote it, in quotes, attributed to the Vizlings app — on the homepage, start-here, and stream pages.
4. Voice lines are labeled as written dialogue. The voice lines page states plainly that its lines are fan-written for the guide — not quotes from the app, owner, or any real person.
5. All art is labeled AI-generated dramatization. Every image caption says so. No image pretends to be official character art, a screenshot, or a photograph — and no real people are depicted anywhere. Provenance (prompts included) is on the sources page and in the image credits on this page.
7. Uncertainty is stated, not smoothed. Where the guide extrapolates (personality from two words, a magic system from vibes), it says so.
What would change this
If the character’s owner publishes an official biography, design sheet, or lore, this guide’s policy is to conform the fan lore to it — or clearly mark divergences as “guide canon vs. official canon.” The fiction labels stay regardless: this is and remains an unofficial fan guide.
