Design Notes

How Tansy looks, piece by piece — a visual breakdown for fans, artists, and the cosplay-curious. Fan-made design notes for a fictional character.

Fan-made. These design notes describe the fan interpretation of Tansy used across this site's AI-generated dramatization art. The Vizlings app's official character sheet was not available at build time.

Silhouette

A starburst with legs. Everything points outward — twin ponytails flying, jacket flared, arms wide. She should read as “mid-entrance” even standing still.

The ponytails

Twin HIGH ponytails — the higher the better, defying at least two laws of physics. Purple, vivid, with a slight gradient darker at the roots. They bounce independently and express emotion: up when she’s excited, drooping when she’s sad. For artists: the ponytails are her mood ring. Draw them accordingly.

Star-shaped hair ties

Chunky star-shaped clips holding each ponytail — yellow with white outlines, sticker-style. They match Melody’s stickers deliberately; the lore says Tansy bought a matching set the week they met.

The jacket

Purple-and-black pop-star jacket, slightly oversized, covered in lightning-bolt patches, star stickers, and one embroidered patch reading nothing — it’s just a star, because text on jackets is for people with quieter lives. Rolled sleeves. Always.

Eyes and expression

Bright violet eyes, huge anime shine, default expression: enormous grin. For artists: her “determined” face is the same grin with sharper eyebrows — fans can tell instantly.

Color palette

Motifs to reuse

Starbursts, halftone dots, sticker borders (thick white outlines), motion lines, and musical notes that are slightly too big. Everything should look like it could peel off and stick on a laptop.

What to avoid

No muted “realistic” redesigns that drain the saturation, no drawing her standing still with arms crossed looking cool — she doesn’t do cool, she does JOY — and never separate her from at least one star motif. It’s practically a legal requirement.
