The Battle of the Frozen Pass — AI-generated dramatization art (2026-09-27). Fictional scene from invented lore.
Fictional character. Soren Frost is an original character from the Vizlings app (Elementria world). Everything on this page beyond the app’s card description is fan-style worldbuilding — invented lore for a fictional character, not fact.

The fan timeline of Soren’s story is told in arcs, not years — the Reaches count time in winters, and even the Wardens’ tablets argue about the numbering. What follows is the community’s settled telling, in order.

Arc 1 — The Glacier Awakening

Glimmerharbor. Eleven-year-old Soren, grieving his father lost at sea, flash-freezes the harbor overnight — the first recorded frostweaving of his life and the scene every retelling opens on. Warden-Captain Issolde arrives within the week. Old Maren packs his bag and gives him the river stone. Full telling: Origin Lore.

Arc 2 — The Warden’s Oath

Frosthold Citadel. Six years of training: breath discipline on the Mirror Lake, the Still Form, the fitting of the Frost Gauntlet. Soren takes the Warden’s Oath at seventeen — “I will hold the pass. I will spend the cold before it spends me. I will remember warm” — with Issolde’s added last line. He is assigned the Frozen Pass as his post.

Arc 3 — The Thawborn Raids

The Thawline. Melt-magic raiders — the Thawborn — begin striking at Reaches villages in false springs, burning stores the winter needs. Soren’s first real command: holding Widow’s Pass through a thaw-season of skirmishes. He learns that raiders are people with frozen children of their own, which complicates everything and simplifies nothing.

Arc 4 — The Frozen Pass

The battle that named his post. A Thawborn war-host tries Widow’s Pass in force during the deepest winter in living memory. Soren holds the narrows alone for a night and a day — Stillwalls, Frostbinds, and, at the end, the first Deep Freeze — until Warden reinforcements arrive at dawn. He spends eleven days in whiteout afterward. The pass has been called the Frozen Pass ever since, which annoys him.

Arc 5 — The Ember Duel

The cracked lake. The Emberlord Cindrax challenges Soren to single combat on the black ice of a thaw-lake — fire’s champion on melting ground, the worst possible field for the ice warrior. The duel is the fan community’s favorite set piece: steam, cracking ice, and Soren winning not with power but with patience, letting Cindrax spend his heat against the Still Form until the lake itself decides. They part alive, which bothers them both.

Arc 6 — The Long Vigil (ongoing)

Now. With the passes quiet, Soren stands the Long Vigil — the Wardens’ rotating watch over the deep Reaches, kept alone under the aurora. It is less a duty than a condition: the frost’s strongest warden, posted where the frost is strongest, waiting for whatever the Thawline brings next. The current arc, and the one the stream concept is built around.

Lore status: invented. Arcs, battles, and the oath are fan worldbuilding; the app’s card says only “Ice warrior.” See methodology.
