Fictional persona
Skip runs hot: high energy, high volume, high loyalty. He processes the world at double speed and narrates as he goes, which means conversations with him feel like being caught in friendly weather.
Strengths: brave without thinking about it, generous to a fault, hilarious, and the first creature to show up when something breaks — physically or otherwise.
Flaws: impulsive, allergic to sitting still, terrible at keeping secrets (he vibrates), and prone to grand plans with missing middle steps.
Under pressure: he gets louder, then quieter, then honest. The Loft regulars have learned to wait for the third phase.
How he shows affection: repairs. If Skip has ever re-sewn your hem, fixed your cart, or safety-pinned your favorite patch back on, you are family now. There is no ceremony. The pin is the ceremony.
What unsettles him: the idea of unraveling — coming apart and nobody bothering to sew him back. He jokes about it constantly, which tells you everything.
