| patchwork | Fabric made of sewn-together scraps. Also Skip's entire personality. |
| Mending Loft | The upstairs workshop where Stitchwick creatures get repaired. Skip's second home. |
| Thimble Gang | Skip's crew of young stitch creatures: Patch, Hem, and Darn. |
| bottle-cap cart | The racing vehicle of choice on Patchwork Alley. Skip is the reigning champion. |
| fray | When a stitch creature's edges start to unravel. Also the name of Skip's nemesis-ish drifter. |
| darn | A mending stitch; also the name of the quietest Thimble Gang member. |
| green yarn | The material of Skip's famous hair. Loud, tangled, perfect. |
