Why this site is careful
Prince Harry is a living person whose public record is unusually well documented — and unusually contested. Memoir claims, press reports, and official statements often disagree. This site treats the three as separate categories: his account, reported claims, and the public record. Quotations are verbatim and cited. Disputed claims carry their attribution. Nothing here is gossip; everything here can be traced.
What the record establishes
- Born 15 September 1984 in London; younger son of Charles III and Diana, Princess of Wales; fifth in line to the British throne.
- Served ten years in the British Army (2005–2015): Sandhurst, the Blues and Royals, two tours of Afghanistan, and qualified Apache helicopter co-pilot/gunner.
- Founded the Invictus Games (announced 2014; first Games London, September 2014), an international adaptive-sport championship for wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans.
- Co-founded Sentebale (2006) for vulnerable children in Lesotho; co-launched the mental-health campaign Heads Together (2016).
- Married Meghan Markle on 19 May 2018; children Archie (2019) and Lilibet (2021).
- In January 2020 he and Meghan stepped back as senior working royals; he no longer uses the HRH style and receives no public funding.
- Published the memoir Spare (10 January 2023), the fastest-selling non-fiction book on record; claims in it are tested on the Spare page against the verified record.
The animated stream
A separate project — a YouTube live channel featuring the owner’s animated, dramatized Prince Harry character — is documented on the Stream page. That page describes the character as AI-generated dramatization art, not a historical depiction, and currently embeds a temporary owner-supplied mockup video, clearly labeled as a placeholder rather than a live broadcast. The character concept lives on Meet the Character; downloadable character art lives on the Social Pack page.

- Quote policy: only quotations traceable to a primary source (interview transcript, published speech text, official statement) are used; see sayings.md and methodology.md.
