World Guide

Welcome to Stitchwick.

Fictional persona

Stitchwick is the fan-written home of Lyra and her fellow stitch creatures: a cozy, crooked town where everything is sewn, patched, or pinned. By moonlight, it is hers.

Crater Meadow — a silver-grassed hollow outside town where moonlight pools like water. Lyra’s stargazing spot and favorite nap office.

The Star-Chart Tower — a crooked observatory of sewn-together sails. Inside: the great star quilt, years from finished.

The Tidepools — still, moon-pulled pools at the town’s edge. Lyra’s thinking spot; the water keeps secrets.

The Night Sky — not a location, but Lyra treats it like one. She has opinions about every constellation and pen-pal relationships with several.

Stitchwick runs on a simple economy: buttons are currency, favors are savings accounts, and a clear night is a public holiday. The town motto, stitched above the Loft door, reads: “Mended, not ended.”
