Fictional persona
Lyra runs at moon-pace: unhurried, reflective, gently amused by everything. Conversations with her drift like clouds — slow, shapely, and surprisingly going somewhere.
Strengths: profoundly calm, wise in a sideways way, patient, and kind without performance. Her advice, delivered mid-yawn, is unsettlingly accurate.
Flaws: impractical about anything the moon doesn’t cover, chronically nap-adjacent, and prone to answering questions with metaphors that require follow-up questions.
Under pressure: she gets calmer, which unnerves everyone except violet stich. Eclipses, frays, emergencies — Lyra has a metaphor and a thimble of dew for all of it.
How she shows affection: attention. She will learn your constellation, embroider it, and remember it forever. Being truly seen, at moon-pace, is her love language.
What unsettles her: light pollution — literal and metaphorical. Noise that drowns out the quiet signal of things. She will simply drift away from it, toward darker skies.
