Cloud Cities of the Reaches
Harbors with no sea — only sky, and the ships that swim in it.

Cloudharbor
The great mooring city, built across three joined islands. Its mooring towers rise like silver needles, and its markets hang on cable bridges between cliffs. Leyra's most famous feat — the featherfall message runs of the Siege — happened here, in a dead calm that froze the towers for three days.
Galeport
The windy trade town where Leyra found Sefra and met Bram. Galeport never quite sits still: shutters rattle year-round, and the locals navigate by the sound of the rigging. Famous for feather-charm carvers and terrible, wonderful dockside tea.
How a cloud city works
Mooring towers catch skyships the way docks catch boats. Wind-singers serve as harbor pilots, talking ships down through crosswinds. Messages travel by feather-capsule on the currents, and news travels at the speed of the fastest ship — which is why The Pale Wisp is always in demand.
