The night-shift family

Lana collects people the way she collects cassettes — carefully, and forever.

All characters below are fictional, part of this site's fan lore. Nobody here is a real person.

Bea “Static” Vasquez

Co-host & engineer. Keeps the transmitter alive and Lana honest. Talks fast, fixes faster.

Milo

All-night diner cook. Feeds the whole night shift. Knows everyone's order; asks about everyone's day.

Theo

Taxi driver and the show's most loyal caller. Has a story for every street in Static City.

Rin

Laundromat philosopher. Dispenses wisdom between spin cycles. Never wrong about people.

June

Runs the fan zine Static Bloom. Little-sister energy, big-archive energy. Archivist of the archives.

Antenna

The rooftop studio cat. Sleeps on the warmest amplifier. Has never once been helpful, is beloved anyway.

Cass (the caller)

A voice that calls every rainy Thursday and never gives a last name. Lana's favorite mystery.

The listeners

The 2am club — everyone awake when they shouldn't be. The whole reason the show exists.

How they fit together

Bea runs the board while Lana runs her mouth; Milo feeds them both at 3am; Theo drives the stories between calls; Rin explains what it all means; June writes it down; Antenna supervises. It's less a friend group, more a frequency — tune in and you're in it.
