News reporting
Contemporary reporting from Associated Press, Reuters, PA Media, the BBC, The Guardian, TIME, and Swedish outlets (Svenska Dagbladet, Dagens Nyheter) for dates, events, court outcomes, and quotations. Wire reporting is preferred for the 2024–2026 events. Commentary and opinion pieces are used only to document that a criticism or response exists — never as factual sources.
Image provenance
See the image captions for credits and context. Illustrated character art is a dramatization.
What is not a source here
Anonymous social-media claims, unsourced viral posts, and partisan blogs are not used as factual sources. Where a claim circulates but cannot be verified from a reputable source, it is omitted — see Methodology for the omission policy.
